Women's Affinity Group
Purpose
The purpose of the Women’s Affinity Group (WAG) at Molloy University (MU) is to:
- Build and create a sense of community
- Develop a community and network that supports Women faculty and staff as an integral part of the MU community
- Advocate for and support the recruitment, retention, and advancement of Women faculty and staff
- Give voice to concerns of Women faculty and staff on campus
- Provide a safe space to share thoughts, feelings, and opinions that impact the Molloy University community
- Professional growth and development
- Collaborate with Human Resources and the Office of Mission Integration
- Network and collaborate
- Develop relationships with other Women’s affinity groups at higher education institutions across the country, but particularly in the NY metropolitan area, to build connections and relationships based on shared interests and goals
