Molloy Named One of the Nation's Top Three Value Colleges for the Second Consecutive Year

Molloy College announced today it has been ranked # 3 in the nation by Money magazine on its 2017 list of "50 Colleges That Add the Most Value." The rankings are part of the magazine's annual "Best Colleges for Your Money" list.

The national distinction marks the second consecutive year that Molloy has been named one of the top value schools in the nation. Last year the College earned the # 1 spot on a list of "Value All-Stars." Molloy was one of only two institutions in the country on last year's list that remained in the top 10 this year.

"We are excited that, once again, Molloy has been named one of the best values in the nation," said Dr. Drew Bogner, Molloy's president. "This recognition is an affirmation of our commitment to providing our students with the best possible value as we prepare them for exciting careers beyond Molloy."

The Money rankings focused on 24 measures in three categories: Quality of education (including the school's six-year graduation rate and its student-to-faculty ratio); Affordability (including a combination of the latest federal data on student and parent borrowing, the average net price the college charges, and federal student-loan default and repayment rates); and Outcomes (including graduates' early-and mid-career earnings).

Molloy was also ranked # 96 in the overall national rankings, the highest of any Long Island college.
