Center for Social and Ethical Concerns

An interdisciplinary initiative led by the Philosophy Department, the Center for Social and Ethical Concerns is focused on strengthening the connection between curriculum and community involvement.

The Center provides a forum and research resource for students, faculty and others interested in critical analysis of and dialogue about peace, justice and empowerment within the community. Projects include speakers, conferences, workshops and outreach opportunities, in addition to the Applied Ethics minor sponsored by the Philosophy Department.
