Throughout the institution, records inform our decision-making and provide accountability. Records are created and exist in a rapidly increasing number of formats. They enable us to meet our daily obligations and document the history of the College.
Our program provides guidance and support to all employees who create or use records at Molloy. We are here to advise on:
- Applying retention schedules
- Records lifecycle management
- Transferring records to the College Archives
- Digitizing standards
- Training on records management topics
The President and Leadership Team approved the Molloy College Records Management Policy in July 2019. We are committed to upholding the tenants of this policy through our Mission:
To provide guidance and support on the management of recorded information to all college employees. Through the consistent and cost-effective application of professional standards, ensuring the College retains records in adherence to regulatory requirements and administrative needs while protecting our institutional heritage.
