Students and alumni who need an official transcript for themselves or sent directly to a prospective employer or school must submit a signed request form to the Office of the Registrar along with the required fee by mail, fax or in-person. Forms are available from the Office of the Registrar or can be downloaded at transcript request form.
Transcript requests are filled as soon as possible after receipt, but you should allow up to a week for processing. The College reserves the right to withhold a student’s transcript until all financial and other obligations are fulfilled.
A transcript of a student's academic work may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar for $5. per copy for both official and student copies. The fee must be paid at the time of the request. Official copies will be mailed directly to other educational institutions, government agencies or employers. An official transcript, if given to a student is official only if it remains sealed until delivered to the recipient. There is only one $5. fee payable to Molloy College for both undergraduate and graduate transcripts if the records are requested at the same time and are mailed to one recipient.
If you are graduating and want your degree noted on the transcript, or if you want your final grades posted, request that we hold for final grades or hold for final degree. Otherwise, the transcript will be released with the information that is posted at the time of the request.
The student or alum must have satisfied all financial and other obligations with Molloy College. Requests received without payment or student's signature will be sent back.
We cannot fax transcripts to recipients. All transcripts must be mailed or picked up in person. A third party may submit a transcript form for you, if they present a letter of authorization from you. If you are having someone pick up your transcript, you must send a signed release - a letter that includes your personal information and a copy of your photo identification. The person picking up the transcript will also be asked to show their photo identification.

The transcript request form may also be faxed to 516.323.4315. If faxing the request the student must pay with Visa or Mastercard. The student must provide the credit card number, the expiration date, the amount authorized to be charged on the credit card and the credit card holder's signature. All requests must be signed before we can release transcripts.
