Enrollment and Degree Verifications
The Registrar’s office will confirm pre-registration prior to the beginning of a semester and during the 'Change of Program' period. Enrollment verifications for the current term can be processed only after the 'Change of Program' period. Undergraduate full-time status is achieved with 12 or more credits, six to 11 credits are considered half-time and less than six credits are considered less than half-time. Graduate full-time status is 9 credits and part-time study ranges from one to eight credits.
Full-time status is an eligibility requirement for most forms of financial aid, loan deferments, health insurance coverage and intercollegiate athletics.
Verification of degrees can only be processed after they are conferred. We can confirm only that a student is a candidate for a degree before the date of conferral of the degree. We will not verify degrees for students with outstanding obligations to Molloy College. All holds to bursar or other departments must be cleared.
Enrollment and degree verifications are provided at no charge. You may request enrollment verifications in-person, by mail or by fax. When requesting an Enrollment Verification Request form, be sure to provide the following information:
- Full name and any other names used while at Molloy College
- Social security number
- Dates of attendance
- Degrees you've received
- Address, a phone number, and/or email where you can be reached
- Name and address of the person to whom you want us to send the verification
Please note that we verify only your dates of attendance, degrees and honors received and your major. If you need verification of the courses you took and the grades you earned or your G.P.A. you must request a transcript.
