Institute for Lifelong Learning
The Molloy College Institute for Lifelong Learning Program (MILL) welcomes adult learners of all ages to be part of a fascinating and stimulating program.
MILL is affiliated with the Elderhostel Institute Network, which is connected to the Elderhostel movement. Both are well recognized programs that promote learning among retirees, savvy seniors and adult learners. Ours is a working model of a school without grades where the only pre-requisite is an active mind and a desire to learn. We provide interesting, stimulating educational opportunities and the chance to be involved in ongoing academic programs that are geared specifically to your interests.
As a member of MILL, you will be with people who share your intellectual curiosity and the experience of your generation. You will share opinions, knowledge and expertise with humor, creativity and mutual respect.
MILL has open membership* and your participation is encouraged regardless of your previous level of formal education. MILL membership is culturally diversified and invites participants from varied religious and ethnic backgrounds.
You will spend the day listening to lectures given by interesting professors or take the opportunity to share your own knowledge with fellow members. MILL will fill your days with:
- Book reviews
- Film discussions
Most events are without fee. All ages are welcome.
There are two MILL groups. The first meets on Tuesdays and the second meets on Fridays. Join MILL now and bring your desire to share, learn, assist and create a better life for you and others.
*Annual membership fee $395, couples $750.
