Suicide Prevention

Molloy College was recently awarded SAMHSA Garrett Lee Smith Memorial: Campus Suicide Prevention Grant. The purpose of this program is to facilitate a comprehensive public health approach to prevent suicide in institutions of higher education. The grant is designed to assist colleges and universities in building essential capacity and infrastructure to support expanded efforts to promote wellness and help-seeking of all students.

To kick-start our programming efforts, we are joining forces with the Junior Class Student Government to host P.S. I Love You Day on Wednesday, February 8 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Public Square Lobby. We look forward to seeing you there. Don't forget to wear purple this Wednesday.

Please contact Talita Ferrara, with ideas/suggestions on how you hope this grant will enhance our Molloy community.
