Students Living the Mission at Midnight Run
Last week was our second and final Midnight Run for this semester with Caldwell University. Midnight Run is a service initiative in which we drive to various stops in Manhattan to help serve the homeless population.
We would like to thank you, the Molloy community, for your generous donations. The clothing and jackets that were donated were greatly appreciated by our friends at the run. With the cold months approaching fast, the gloves, hats, and scarves that we were able to distribute made a world of a difference to those living on the streets.
I would like to also give a shout out to our eight wonderful students who participated and helped make the run so successful. Another big thank you goes out to Wendy Espinosa from the Office of Experiential Learning for attending.
Although this was our last run of the semester, it is definitely not the last run for the year. If you are interested in attending a midnight run during the spring semester, make sure to stop by the Office of Campus Ministries once the spring semester begins.
Thank you for your continued support in so many ways. Even though not everyone gets to experience a Midnight Run, you have all touched so many people by your generosity.
Once again thank you so much.
