New MS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Molloy
Molloy College is pleased to announce that the New York State Education Department has approved a Master's Program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
"We are proud to offer a new 60 credit Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling," said Dr. Laura B. Kestemberg, Associate Dean and Director, Clinical Mental Health Counseling MS Program, Department of Psychology and Counseling, and Clinical Director, Center for Autism and Child Development. "The new degree is registered with the New York State Education Department as a licensure qualifying program in clinical mental health counseling. Our program will provide students the opportunity to learn essential counseling theory and techniques while taking advantage of hands-on practica, internship experiences, and research opportunities both on and off the Molloy College campus. The new Master's program will put students on the cutting edge of the counseling profession."
The College plans to launch this program in the Fall 2015 semester.
