Molloy remembers 9/11
The September Concert is on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. on the Great Lawn, under the tent.
Molloy College has offered a September Concert since 2004 in conjunction with The September Concert Foundation. The foundation was created in April of 2002 for the sole purpose of organizing an annual citywide, free music festival in New York, in remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001. Their vision was to mark the day as a day of music and prayers for a peaceful world year after year, and build it to become the largest peoples' concert in the world with multi-city events. The September Concert is based on the principles of musical equality, freedom, accessibility, and the spirit of giving and is a celebration of our universal humanity.
If you would like to participate as a performer, please contact Coleen Peterson or S. Diane Capuano; otherwise, please mark your calendars and plan on joining us for this annual tribute to those we remember on 9/11.
