Molloy College School of Business Earns Initial Accreditation

Rockville Centre, NY- Molloy College announced today that the Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) granted first-time specialized accreditation to the Molloy College Business Programs for a period of seven years.

"This is an important accomplishment for the College and the School of Business," said Molloy College President James Lentini. "This accreditation provides external validation and confirmation of the quality education provided by Molloy's School of Business and its faculty."

According to the Council's website, the IACBE accredits business programs that lead to degrees at the associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels in institutions of higher education worldwide. Accreditation ensures that the academic business unit complies with high principles of excellence, follows best practice in business education and provides external accountability for the quality of an institution's business programs.

"The accreditation by IACBE confirms the strength, depth and dynamic nature of Molloy's Business programs," said Gioia Bales, Dean of the School of Business at Molloy. "Both our School of Business graduates and their employers will benefit from this external quality assurance. We are proud to have earned this independent recognition."
