Molloy College Named a “Best College” According to U.S. News & World Report
Ranked # 26 in the North, Rates Highly for Veterans, Value and Social Mobility
Rockville Centre, NY - Molloy College announced today that it has earned high rankings from U.S. News & World Report in four important categories:
Regional Universities North #26
Best Colleges for Veterans - Regional Universities (North) #14
Best Value - Regional Universities (North) #36
Social Mobility - Regional Universities (North) #73.
The 2021 rankings were released on September 14, 2020. U.S. News and World Report has been providing education rankings and helping parents and students find the right school since 1983.
"We are pleased to see our overall ranking at # 26 in the North, a clear signal that Molloy is one of the best colleges in the nation," said Dr. James Lentini, the College's president. "We were also highly rated among the best colleges for veterans, value, and social mobility. These rankings speak to the true value of a Molloy education and are a tribute to the dedication, talent and student-focused vision of the entire Molloy team."
Molloy College, an independent Catholic college based in Rockville Centre, was founded in 1955 by the Sisters of Saint Dominic in Amityville, NY. The College serves a student population of approximately 4,900 undergraduate and graduate students. Molloy students can earn degrees in a variety of outstanding academic programs, including nursing, business, education, social work, music therapy, computer studies and many more.
