Molloy College Announces Fall Plans

Rockville Centre, NY - Molloy College announced today it plans for the fall semester, with an emphasis on safety and a combination of in-person, HyFlex/hybrid and online classes.

Classes will begin on September 8 and will mark the first fall semester of the College's new president, Dr. James P. Lentini, who most recently served as Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

"I am excited to begin my first fall semester at Molloy," said Dr. Lentini.  "In addition to our emphasis on the safety of the Molloy community, I am also pleased that our tuition freeze means that students will not see any increase from the 2019 levels.  This is an important step for our students and their families, given that many of them have been adversely affected by the Covid virus and the subsequent economic impact."

Molloy will also welcome students to live on campus in the College's three residence halls.  Numerous safety initiatives for the residents include single and double rooms, eliminating triples to reduce the amount of student-to-student contact.

A wide variety of safety measures include increased cleaning of all surfaces, an emphasis on more distancing in classrooms and other spaces on campus, and a requirement that everyone on campus wear face coverings.
