Mission: Living it Forward…
Appalachia Trip 2019
This August, eleven Molloy students and six alumni served as counselors and support staff at Big Laurel Learning Center in Naugatuck, West Virginia. Our group spent a week at the boys camp living the mission on a mountain in spare conditions. Over the years the Molloy group has watched the campers, who are from one of the poorest counties in the United States, grow from boys to young men with big dreams for the future. Spending time with our Molloy mentors is vital to showing the campers the value of continuing their education. I speak for the entire Appalachia Project group as I extend the sincerest "thank you" to all those who supported this program. We truly could not have done it without you.
