Live Your Story at Molloy
Tyler Walther '16, Biology Major
"Molloy gave me so many opportunities for success," said Tyler. "I would tell someone who is considering attending Molloy to do it! It was definitely one of the best decisions of my life. It helped me grow as person, and it helped me find out what I really wanted to do.
I chose to major in biology because I wanted to have a career in the health care field, but I really wasn't sure what career I wanted to pursue."
Tyler attributes the opportunities and attention he received while at Molloy with helping him identify his career path. "The faculty were extremely helpful and caring," he shared. "The students were very supportive. There was a real sense of community among everyone on campus."
In the summer of his senior year, Tyler worked with one of his professors, Dr. Cutter. He assisted her with an ovarian cancer research project that she was conducting in the laboratories on campus. He was also a part of the Community Service Sector of Molloy Student Government in his sophomore, junior, and senior year.
Recently he began a physician assistant program after working for two years as a research technician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan.
