Teams with N.Y.'s CAP21 conservatory to create fine arts degree
Molloy College recently announced that it would partner with CAP21, the musical theater conservatory and Off-Broadway theater company in New York City, to offer a new Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater Arts. Beginning this fall, the program will combine Molloy's academics with CAP21's 20 years of experience in training musical theater actors.
BFA students will take a wide range of performing arts classes that will include acting, voice (both ensemble and individual) and dance. Freshmen will spend three days a week taking academic classes at Molloy, and two days a week taking classes at CAP21's Manhattan facility on 18th Street. In their sophomore, junior and senior years, fine-arts students will take two days of classes at Molloy and three at CAP21. Read More.
