Former baseball star launches pro career

John Galanoudis signed the contract on Tuesday, May 26.
The Robbers will play a 70 game schedule in 72 days and will play at ballparks throughout New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and Kansas.
As a Molloy College student-athlete, Galanoudis finished his collegiate baseball career on quite a high note.
This past season at Molloy, he batted .318 with 30 runs scored, 56 hits, nine doubles, 2 home runs, 29 RBI, 71 total bases, 6 stolen bases, a .386 on-base percentage and a .403 slugging percentage.
Within the East Coast Conference, Galanoudis ranked second in total bases, tied for third in homers and RBI’s, sixth in runs scored, seventh in doubles, and 12th in batting average. The 2015 season marks the third time Galanoudis has received All-Conference praise as he was also selected to the All-ECC Second Team in 2012 and 2013.
The East Coast Conference is a strong wood bat league and Galanoudis always found himself at the top of the list with aggressive stats and was a consistent producer. He has tremendous offensive tools and utilized those tools effectively throughout his college career. Read More.
