Faculty Member Speaks in India
The Department of Communication Arts and Sciences (CSD) is pleased to announce that Dr. Datta recently returned from India where she was an invited speaker at the Indian Speech and Hearing Association. Dr. Datta presented a 6-hour workshop on the Neuro Correlates of Speech and Language. Her presentation was attended by numerous graduate students and practicing speech and language clinicians. Dr. Datta's workshop focused on examining brain structures and their functions as they relate to typical and disordered communication. This presentation was part of the Golden Jubilee of this organization, which attracts numerous renown international speakers each year.
The student's in both our Undergraduate and Graduate programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders are fortunate to have such ready access to Dr. Datta's expertise and knowledge in Neurolinguistics right here at Molloy College!
