As we celebrate throughout this academic year, the 60 anniversary of Molloy College and the 800 anniversary of the world-wide Dominican Order, we pray that our hearts and minds may more perfectly align with both the vision of St. Dominic, the founder of the Order of Preachers and the vision of the Dominican Sisters of Amityville, founders of Molloy College. This vision calls upon each of us to be signs of joy and hope in all that we do so that together we may, like the founding sisters, have the grace necessary to risk a future rooted ever more deeply in community, spirituality, study and service. We ask that we may be mindful of this every day so that our lives and the lives of many will be transformed. And so, as members of this Molloy Community and as members of the Dominican Family, we pray...
"May God, Creator, bless us,
May God, Redeemer, heal us,
And may, God the Holy Spirit,
fill us with light."
