Communications major claims video awards
Ronald Amato, a junior Communications major at Molloy College, was a big winner of two Videographer Awards. Amato took home two Award of Distinction for his video Molloy College Men's Rugby.
And two Honorable mention for his Molloy is Home video.
The Videographer Awards is one of the most coveted awards in the video industry. Over the past 20 years, thousands of production and communication professionals have entered their best and most creative work. The goal of the Videographer Awards is to identify and recognize the artisans who excel in the scope of their own environment. Winners range from network news operations to local cable access...from large production companies to freelancers...from international advertising agencies to student producers. The Award of Distinction is awarded for projects that exceeded industry standards. Approximately 14 percent of the entries win this award. Honorable Mention designation is usually awarded to about 6 percent of the entries.
