Frustration with the health care agency that served her elderly parents propelled Pat to start her very own agency.  Under her outstanding leadership, Better Home Health Care is one of the fastest growing businesses, and the second largest female owned business on Long Island.  Today with 3 locations, 500 employees and over 12,000 satisfied clients it is a recognized leader in the health care industry.

Pat is a lifelong active and caring resident of Rockville Centre.  A graduate of South Side High School and The Roosevelt School of Nursing, she pursued a career as a Registered Nurse at South Nassau Communities Hospital.  An interest in education and training of medical para professionals led her to a medical training school where she was the originator of the first triple certification health care worker program.  This program prepared graduates to enter a variety of health care settings including the home.

Pats involvement in the community is ongoing.  A member of the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce and past Board member, past President and member of the  Friends of Senior Servces and member of South Nassau Communities Advocacy Committee.  She was a recipient of the Nassau County Pathfinder Award for Outstanding Service, Businessperson of the year Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce, Recipient of South Nassau Communities Hospital  Mary Pierson  Award, Honoree of the Hispanic Brotherhood of Rockville Centre, Entrepenurial Spirit Award by KMG and honored as one of Long Islands Top 50 Women.
