Full-Time Professor of Practice in Healthcare Management

The Division of Business at Molloy College invites applications for a full-time Professor of Practice in Residence position in Healthcare Management. The successful candidate will be an accomplished and recognized individual whose talents and skills in the field of Healthcare Management offer our students an added dimension to their education and a possible practical link to success in the job market.  The position starts in January 2019. An earned MBA or equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Responsibilities include teaching twelve credits (12) per semester (9 credits if teaching in the Graduate Program), coupled with student advisement and service to the college. Courses to be taught may include Healthcare Accounting, Healthcare Finance, and Healthcare Organization and Delivery.  The candidate must be able to teach classes at the undergraduate and graduate level and have day, evening, and weekend availability.  Healthcare industry level management experience is required.  Senior experience at the Vice President level or above is desired. Evidence of outstanding teaching experience must be demonstrated.  An interest in teaching online is required. The successful applicant will be expected to advise students and to actively recruit and build the Healthcare Administration Programs, as well as participate in other related activities as requested by the Dean of the Division of Business. 

The full-time position includes the option to participate in the Molloy College health, dental, and vision plans, as well as the option to participate in the retirement annuity and supplemental annuity plans.
