Clinical Mental Health Counseling Part-Time Professor

The Master of Science Program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) at Molloy College is seeking a part-time professor to teach an evening course once a week in our counseling department starting in January 2018.  Current openings are available in both the spring and summer semesters. The CMHC program is a part-time New York State registered graduate program which is academically rigorous and taught in both lecture and an experiential format. We are looking for an energetic adjunct with expertise in the following areas: addictions and substance abuse counseling; developmental theories in counseling; marriage and family therapy; and spirituality and counseling. Requirements for the position include a doctoral degree in counseling or a closely related field from an accredited program and night-time availability for teaching the course and office hours as needed. Prior graduate level teaching experience as well as clinical teaching experience is required. A strong counselor educator identity and New York State licensure are a plus.
