Assistant Professor of Sociology

The Sociology and Anthropology Department at Molloy College, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin Fall 2019. The Department offers a degree in Sociology and is broadly interdisciplinary in nature. The successful candidate will teach upper level courses, and contribute to the department's required core offerings such as introduction to sociology, social theory, and basic and advanced research methods.

Requirements:
The successful incumbent is someone with strong teaching skills, a commitment to liberal arts undergraduate education, and evidence of a promising research agenda. Candidate should have a Ph.D. in Sociology and the willingness to teach hybrid and online courses.
