The Science and Math Education Institute serves the K - 12 science and mathematics education community on Long Island. Given that the ever-changing nature of today's global society demands that learners of all ages search for truth through critical thinking, reflection and dialogue, the Institute:
- Serves in an advisory capacity to make the services provided by higher education programs ever congruent with the changing needs of the K -12 science and math education community
- Encourages diverse K -12 science and math educators to apply and participate in formal and informal programs, coursework and conferences
- Promotes Molloy College as a way to meet pre-service, in-service and professional development goals
