Frank and Gertrude Kaiser Gallery at Molloy College
Exhibits the
Monumental Drawings
Of
Michael Ryan

The Frank and Gertrude Kaiser Gallery at Molloy College will exhibit the monumental drawings of Michael Ryan from September 13 through October 26, 2012.

Ryan's large, detailed graphite drawings are "influenced by the concept of memory" according to the artist.  He uses early 20th century photography wrought with personal memories and infuses them with his own vision.

Ryan is a Brooklyn-based artist who grew up and went to school in Chicago, Illinois. He has exhibited at Giacobetti Paul Gallery in New York and New York University's Washington Square Gallery.

There will be an opening reception on Thursday, September 13 from 4 p.m. -6 p.m. The public is invited to attend. The Frank and Gertrude Kaiser Gallery is located in the Public Square at Molloy College. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. -6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. -5 p.m. The Gallery will be closed on Monday October 8 for observance of Columbus Day.
