Molloy College Art Gallery: Artists Choose Artists
February 6 - March 25, 2011
An exhibition based on the mentoring of established artists with young community artists.
The Molloy College Art Gallery will present an exhibition titled "Artists Choose Artists" including; Charles Winslow, Doris Campbell, Kenneth Smith, James Brown, Rosa Hanna Scott, Maxine Townsend-Broderick, Brent Bailer, Hershel Manier, Rebecca Fowler, David Wilson, Bernard James, Olita Wingate-Jenkins, Clemente Ettrick, Beverly Christopher, Rhonda Fleshman, Galvin P. Bisserup, Jr., Wilbur L. Young, Deborah Corbin, Frank Shervington, and Leslye William Nicholson.
This grant is supporting a mentoring program between established artists of the Long Island Black Artists Association in the Nassau County community with younger artists in the Nassau County community. This exhibition has been generously funded by the New York State Council on the Arts.
There will be an opening reception at Molloy College on Sunday, February 6 from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
