Upcoming fall 2013 poetry events

Poet Diane Frank will be at Molloy on Sunday, October 6 at 3 p.m., and poets Matt Pasca and Terri Muuss on Sunday, November 3 at 3 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.  Molloy College and its Writer-in-Resident, Barbara Novack, will be hosting both events.

Diane Frank is a poet, musician, dancer, novelist, teacher and chief editor of Blue Light Press. Her first novel, Blackberries in the Dream House, won the Chelson Award for Fiction and was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Swan Light, her sixth poetry collection, was published in April. She lives in San Francisco.

Matt Pasca's first book of poetry, A Thousand Doors, was a 2012 Pushcart Prize nominee. His award-winning work has appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies. He is also a New York State Teacher of Excellence (2003) and a reviewer and workshop coordinator for the Long Island Authors Group.

Terri Muuss' first poetry collection is Over Exposed (2013). She is also author of Anatomy of a Doll, a highly regarded one-woman show and was co-producer and host of Poetry at the Pulse, a monthly Manhattan poetry series. She lives on Long Island with husband Matt Pasca and their two sons.
