Author, Treasa O’Driscoll Presents…Celtic Woman: A Memoir of Life’s Poetic Journey at 3 p.m.
Celtic Woman by Irish born author, Treasa O'Driscoll, is a new release from Dundurn Press now available in the U.S. This inspiring memoir of an Irish woman attuned to poetic updrafts and spiritual downloads in the lives of real people, many of them celebrities in Ireland and North America she counts as personal friends, exudes O'Driscoll's Irish heritage on every page. Her encounters in life have been testing, tragic, romantic and comic, involving musicians, poets, professors, actors, farmers and unexpected strangers whose lives are interwoven with hers in an engaging and meaningful tapestry delivered in nuanced and expressive, poetic prose.
Join us as Treasa O'Driscoll presents passages from her book, interspersed with poetry and song (mostly in the Irish language.) Audience participation is encouraged. There is no charge for this event.
