Molloy College Presents “Scenic Routes”
June 1, 2012
The Frank and Gertrude Kaiser Art Gallery at Molloy College will exhibit the work of ten artists in an exhibition titled, "Scenic Routes" which is the second exhibition created for our Artists Choose Artists program. This exhibition is curated by Evan Rheel Ryer and will include the work of Melissa Armstrong, Jenn Brehm, Katie Cercone, Lauren Comito, Brent Owens, Zachary Seeger, Elisa de la Huerta and Dustin Sparks.
The exhibition is part of a project that has its roots in the mentoring of artists where five established artists mentor five less established artists and the work that they all create will be exhibited. This exhibition is generously funded by the New York State Council on the Arts. The exhibition will also travel to another venue.
There will be an opening reception on Saturday June 9 from 12 p.m - 3 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
Gallery hours in June are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and July Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
