NY Times: Spotlight on the Madison Theatre at Molloy

ANGELO FRABONI organized the "Shuffle Concert" last month at the new Madison Theater at Molloy College with a specific goal in mind: "I wanted to establish early that we'd be doing classical music with a fresh new angle," said Mr. Fraboni, the artistic director of the 550-seat space, which opened in November. The concert fit the bill: audience members received a "music menu" at the door and were called on at random to choose the next piece to be played.
On another level, the Shuffle Concert worked as a metaphor for the kind of programming that the $15 million theater, housed in a 57,000-square-foot building known as the Public Square, has in store for Long Island's South Shore. Read the full article.
