Molloy College, Division of Nursing, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center are pleased to present the conference: "Surviving Cancer with the Help of Mind-Body Medicine" on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. The conference will be offered at no charge and will be held on Molloy's Rockville Centre campus located at 1000 Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre, NY, 11571.
The conference is designed for cancer patients, cancer survivors and their families. However, this conference is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend, including healthcare professionals and students.
The speakers will be Barrie Cassileth, Ph.D., Chief, Integrative Medicine Service, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Maureen Hogan Lutz, author and survivor, author of Diamonds in the Snow.
Check-in and light refreshments will be at 6:30 p.m. and the program will start 7:00 p.m.
