Long Island Press – Energeia’s Nancy Engelhardt makes “Most Influential” List

Long Island is a complicated matrix of independent communities and fiefdoms that have common problems but fragmented leadership. As director of Molloy College's Energeia Partnership, Nancy Engelhardt seeks to provide the antidote for what ails us by bringing together our disparate network of business, community and political leaders to effect positive change for the Island as a whole. More than 300 people, including many on this list, have participated in this program, which has elevated the discussion of Long Island's future in a way many similar efforts have failed to do. As an aficionado of rowing, Engelhardt understands the strength that comes from pulling our oars in the same direction.
