A Message from the President about Super Storm Sandy
Molloy College will re-open on Wednesday, November 7th.
We are deeply aware that many members of the Molloy family have suffered and continue to suffer from the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy. We ask that you keep this in mind when returning to campus. We will re-open on a Wednesday schedule and will make best efforts to hold every class — even under these trying circumstances. Please know that the College has not suffered any serious damage to its facilities and will continue to provide the same quality education.
I know that Molloy College is an interconnected community that will be supportive and responsive to our colleagues and friends who are hurting and in need. The College is organizing an effort to provide support to members of our community. If you are blessed with the ability to do so, we encourage you to come to campus on Wednesday with canned foods, bottled water, non-perishable foodstuffs, baby food, diapers, batteries, flashlights, women's products, garbage bags, blankets, air mattresses, cots, and sleeping bags. Please bring these items to the Office of Student Affairs on the third floor of the Public Square building.
We are also trying to determine what types of assistance are needed by the members of the Molloy College community.
Please let us know if you are in need of any kind of assistance by contacting Robert Houlihan, Vice President for Student Affairs, at 678-5000, ext. 6409.
The College will be offering counseling sessions beginning this Wednesday. Please look for future emails and to our website for updated information as it becomes available.
