Molloy Student Government Special Elections

MSG (Molloy Student Government) has announced they have several open positions for the spring 2013 semester.
The available positions are listed below. If any of them appeal to you, please express your interest and get involved in one of the biggest organizations on campus!

S.A.A.C. Representative (Appointed position, no election required)

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee Representative would address concerns between Student Athletes and MSG. This position is for someone who wants to be a liaison to the MSG Legislature and promote understanding between our wonderful student athletes and MSG!

HOPE Representative (Appointed position, no election required)

Hospitality in the Dominican (O.P.) Way for Everyone, is a representation of Molloy College Campus Ministries. Rooted in our Catholic heritage and Dominican tradition, we are happy to welcome someone who would bring spirituality and the Dominican Way to MSG and the student body at large.

Academic Board Chairperson

Are you interested in representing the Academic Board on MSG? If you would like to serve on the Undergraduate Academic Policies and Programs Committee, meet with Student Affairs to oversee evaluations each semester and participate in the evaluating process of all undergraduate classes, this position is for you!

Residence Hall Chairperson

Would you like to be the voice of the Fitzgerald Residence Hall? The Residence Hall Chairperson advocates for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for their personal growth and development. Chairperson must be a resident in Fitzgerald Hall.

Freshman Class Historian

Here's an opportunity to assist your fellow Freshman Class. The Historian assists class officers in all events, especially publicity. A record of all class events must be minted by the historian including photographs. Freshman Class Historian also takes notes pertaining to the Freshman Class during Student Government Meetings.

*PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in any of the positions above, you must attend an interest meeting on Wednesday, January 23 at 3:30 p.m. or Thursday, January 24 at 3:30 pm. At the interest meetings, you will receive information about your desired positions. You must also be available to attend the Molloy Student Government meeting on Tuesday, January 29 at 3:30 pm.
