Student recieves Geico Scholarship

By Alexa Sussman

After presenting at the Career Prep workshop on Sept. 26, 2013, Geico's college recruiter Jeannie Toscano presented a $2,500 Achievement Award scholarship to junior, Kyle Brzoza. This is an award presented to outstanding students studying in the fields of business, IT, or math. Students must earn at least a 3.0 overall GPA as a sophomore or a junior, and show leadership on and off campus. As a Finance major in the Business Honors Program and an important member of the Rugby team, Kyle has proven to excel in the classroom and on the field.

Kyle learned about the Geico Achievement Award through e-mails sent out by the Career Development Center. To enter to win this scholarship and many more like this, keep an eye out for e-mails from the Career Development Center or stop by their office on the third floor of the Public Square. Also, be sure to meet with Jeannie and many more recruiters like her at the Career Fair on November 1 at 1pm so you can take advantage of an opportunity like Kyle did.
