This Week At Molloy
Friday, March 7
For those students who are required to make up classes on Friday, March 7, due to the snow days, the Molloy shuttle will operate from 8 a.m. thru 11:30 p.m. The last shuttle will depart Molloy College for the Rockville Centre train station and the Hempstead bus terminal at 11:30 p.m.
Monday, March 10
Sign-up for "Botown XV at Molloy," today through Monday, April 7 at Campus Ministries, Public Square, Room 390. Boxtown will take place on Thursday, April 10, 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Friday, April 11. This will be the 15th year students, faculty and staff brave the weather and sleep in a refrigerator box to experience what some of our brothers and sisters experience every day. This event is a fundraiser for Bethany House, a shelter for women and children who are homeless in Nassau County. It is a great night of community, of prayer and sharing. The Molloy College Film Festival presents, "The Great Gatsby," at 5 p.m. in the Hays Theatre. Enjoy a free movie and free snacks. Open to the public. No reservations required. This event is sponsoreed by the Royal English Department. Call Trish O'Neill at 516.323.3260 if you have any questions.

The Siena Women's Center will host a book discussion on Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead, by Sheryl Sandberg. The event will take place in the Reception Room, first floor, Kellenberg Hall at 5:30 p.m. Please reserve your place by contacting Deirdre McGovern at 516.323.3020.
Monday, March 17
On March 17, alumni, students, faculty and staff will march together to represent Molloy College in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade. Busses will leave the campus by 9:30 a.m. and travel to Slattery's Pub for a traditional breakfast. Then you will line up amd march up Fifth Avenue. The cost is $20. per person and seats are limited. Rockville Centre will be hosting their annual St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday March 22 and you are invited to march. The Alumni Relations office is thrilled to offer you the opportunity to share an exciting and fun-filled day. Please see attached flyer for information. Come and support your school!
Sunday, March 23
Molloy's Writer-in-Residence and the English Department are proud to present a Poetry Event, today at 3 p.m. in the Reception Room, first floor Kellenberg Building, featuring readings by contributors to Paumanok, Interwoven.
Paumanok, Interwoven is a unique anthology of works by Long Island poets and photographers that takes the reader through a year, with 365 days of evocative pairings of poem and picture. Its editor, Kathy Donnelly, also edited its precursor, Paumanok, Poems and Pictures of Long Island. She is both poet and photographer, as well as a nurse practitioner at Stony Brook Hospital. This event is free and opem to the public.
The Blessing Bag drive is underway. To donate, fill a gallon Ziploc bag with small, non-perishable necessities and foods, including travel shampoos and conditioners, soap, hand sanitizer, moist wipes, deodorant, tuna, cookies, crackers, fruit cups and fruit snacks. Dunkin Donut and McDonald's gift cards are always welcome. Bring your Blessing Bag to a donation box today through March 13 to help those in need. The Blessing Bags will be distributed during midnight runs and to the Mary Brennan Inn. Donation collection boxes locations:

- Outside the Anselma Room
- Casey Building, first floor, by the vending machines.
This drive is being sponsored by Molloy literary magazine.
This year's Siena Women's Center, Voices of Women Academic Symposium, is entitled, Immigration: The Many Faces of Culture. It will be held on Friday, April 11. See event flyer for more information.
The new Molloy Shuttle pickup and drop off for the Rockville Centre Train Station is now on the opposite side of the train station - same building as in the past just the other side. If you have any questioontact Public Safety at 516.323.3500.

Please note: you must have a current Molloy College ID card to ride the shuttle.

Wellness activities are taking place on campus. Open to students, faculty, administrators and staff, all classes are $5 per session with our certified instructors from Sky Athletic Club in Rockville Centre. The schedule is as follows:
- Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. - Yoga in the Public Square Club Room. No mats needed.
- Wednesdays at 4 p.m. - Zumba in the Hays Theatre, Wilbur Arts Building.
- Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.- Cardio Kickboxing on the Madison Theatre Stage

Self-Service Password Reset: The IT department implemented a self-service application to allow you to reset your own password and unlock your own account. This new self-service 'password reset/account unlock' tool is for your network/email account and password ONLY. This is the username/password when you log into your Molloy computer or your email from a web browser. The new tool is NOT for Jenzabar, Lion's Den, Powerfaids or any other application that requires a username/password. If you haven't already, please visit the following URL from an on-campus computer. Login with your full email address and password and enroll for password self-service: https://selfservice.molloy.edu. Review the attached document which shows screen shots of the enrollment process and includes important information.

The Partner Project is honored to be hosting a panel discussion, "Together as One: Relationship Violence - Love, Loss and Breaking the Silence, " featuring Sharon Love, from One Love Foundation. Sharon's daughter, Yeardley was murdered by her boyfriend while they were students at University of Virginia. The event, at 3 p.m. in the Hays theatre, is free and open to everyone. Event flyer.

The Student Personal Counseling Service presents, "Love Should Never Hurt," a workshop providing students an overview of issues surrounding domestic violence and sexual assault.
