Events
LIIEN Educational Forums have been held annually since 2007. The 2008, 2009 and 2010 events attracted over 100 people-events have been featured in Newsday and LI Catholic.
Attendees receive both inspiration and practical information on how to make their operations more energy efficient. They hear from expert speakers and exhibitor tables about what incentive programs and financing options are available to places of worship, and what inspiring places of worship in our region have already achieved.
Speakers have included representatives from Greenfaith, NY Interfaith Power & Light, LIPA, National Grid, local solar and green roofing companies, green cleaning experts and lighting experts.
"Stay tuned for the next event..." |
LIIEN and Abundant Communities Together (ACT) thank everyone who attended the 2010 forum for greening your congregation.
