"I believe you can break down barriers when you can speak someone's language.

"I was born in India to multi-lingual parents and we moved to the United States when I was seven. I've always loved languages and today I am fluent in 11, including English, Arabic, Urdu, French, Italian, Sanscrit, Persian, Hindi, Punjabi, Pashto, and Dari.  I am also learning Spanish and Chinese-Mandarin.

"Molloy helps me maintain my fluency in several of these languages, both in terms of great professors and also because there is such a diverse population at Molloy with whom I can speak. Knowing so many languages has helped shape my career goals.

"I've loved my political science classes at Molloy, and I anticipate going to law school at some point in the future.  I would eventually like to work for the FBI, the CIA or perhaps at the United Nations.  No matter where I end up, though, I know I will be speaking many languages for the rest of my life!"
