"I had always anticipated going away to school, but Molloy College's Honors Program changed my mind. Now, I realize that college really is what you make of it. Coming here was the best decision I've ever made.

"The Honors Program was amazing. I not only received an almost-full scholarship and a laptop computer, I also had the chance to spend 12 days studying in France when I was a freshman. The trip was unforgettable and I learned so much. I also made some great friends in the program because we took our courses together during the first two years.

"Next year, I'll be spending a semester in London as a student teacher. That global experience will really help me when I become a teacher and as I pursue my real passion, which is to be a poet and writer.

"It just goes to show, you don't need to go away to get that complete 'college experience'. Molloy is an exciting place with a lot of great programs for students who want to take advantage of them. It's a great place to realize your potential and discover new things. There's something for everyone here. For example, I'm captain of the men's Rugby club, which Molloy started back in 2005.

"I've had such an amazing experience at Molloy, I think I may come back here for my Master's degree, too."
