Meeting the challenges of Aging on Long Island
The high cost of living on Long Island continues to take its toll on seniors. There are over 800,000 seniors living on Long Island today and the boomers are coming. How will their needs be met? Who will care for them? Vincent J. Russo, elder care attorney and co-host of, “Family Comes First”, will lead a lively discussion with a panel of experts on aging. This 2-hour session will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Molloy’s Suffolk Center located off Route 110 at 7180 Republic Airport (Grumman Lane) in East Farmingdale.
Panelist will include:
- Dr. Jeffrey Rosenfeld, Director of Gerontology Program, Hofstra University; Author, Home Design in an Aging World (Diversity in Housing)
- Mary DiSario, Cold Spring Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (Home Care Issues)
- Dave Hungerford, AXA Advisors (Retirement Planning / Retirement Fund Accounts)
- Frank L. Buquicchio, Partner, Vincent J. Russo & Associates, P.C. and Accredited Attorney with the Veterans Administration (Elder Law Issues / Paying for Long Term Care)
