Psychology Full Time Faculty

Position: Full-Time tenure track position - Psychology

The Psychology Department of Molloy College is seeking a mid-career, full-time faculty member with a doctorate in Counseling/Clinical Psychology for a tenure track appointment which starts September, 2012.
Molloy College is an independent institution recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as an outstanding comprehensive college. Located in suburban Rockville Centre, Long Island, Molloy is about 40 minutes from New York City. With approximately 4000 students, the College emphasizes small class size and personal attention.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in administration to work on the development of a Mental Health Counseling Master's Program
• Experience with establishment and supervision of internships
• Teaching - initially at the undergraduate level, eventually at both graduate and undergraduate levels
• Scholarship - evidence of scholarship and publication within the Counseling/Clinical field.

Requirements:


The position requires a Ph.D./Psy.D.in Counseling/Clinical Psychology, college teaching experience, some administrative experience, and a strong commitment to scholarship. The culture of Molloy College emphasizes "student-centered teaching".
