Financial Aid Office Assistant (PT)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Financial Aid Office
  • Greet students and parents
  • Works with Human Resources to calculate and award Tuition Remission for employees and their dependents
  • Review subsequence ISIRs (Institutional Student Information Record)
  • Corresponds with students regarding incomplete ISIRs and those continuing students who are selected for verification
  • Enters information regarding completed Entrance and Exit Interviews
  • Attends Graduation Festival, distributing information regarding completion of Exit Interview repayment of loans
  • Run reports with regards to graduation and withdrawal for Exit Counseling Letters
  • Responsible for the processing of Graduate Assistanship Awards
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid


  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of Financial Aid experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Must provide superior customer service, and be detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of Financial Aid regulations a plus


28 hours per week. Monday through Thursday, some evenings/weekend work required.
