Assistant Professor of Theology and Religious Studies
Molloy College, a private college in the Catholic and Dominican tradition, is accepting applications for the full-time tenure-track faculty position of Assistant Professor of Theology and Religious Studies. A Ph.D. in the discipline is required, dedication to continuing scholarship is expected, and college teaching experience is preferred.
The successful candidate will be committed to undergraduate teaching of non-majors as well as majors, will participate in innovative and creative approaches to curricular development. The candidate will also possess interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability and desire to work with a diverse student body and collaboratively with faculty in disciplines other than Theology and Religious Studies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The position involves teaching twelve credits per semester, academic advisement, collaboration on departmental activities including recruitment, willingness to serve on college-wide committees, a commitment to on-going scholarship through publications and presentations at professional conferences.
