DEAR ALUMNI & FRIENDS,
Molloy is at an exciting and pivotal juncture in its growth. The College is embarking on a major capital campaign effort designed to augment its excellent values-centered and transformative educatio nal experience. At Molloy, students are challenged to maintain high personal and professional standards to improve quality of life for not only themselves, but also their neighbors, in an everchanging global society.
Founded in 1955 by the Dominican Sisters of the Congregation of the Holy Cross, Amityville, Molloy’s freshman class totaled 44 young women. The College steadily grew to an annual enrollment of 1,600 students, in 1991, and what is 3,500 students today. And yet, in the last 15 years, the College has not added a significant new structure to accommodate the significant growth. So, as you may imagine, space is at a premium.
There are two major goals of this Capital Campaign. The main goal is to build a 65,000 square foot student center, called the “Public Square,” along with Molloy’s first residence hall. The second is to raise much needed monies for endowed scholarships.
Molloy needs the financial support of all its alumni and friends to make this effort a success. This booklet explains exactly what is being planned, and how you can help. Please join us in making the capital campaign a success and help Molloy College reach new heights of educational excellence.
Sincerely,

Drew Bogner, Ph.D.
