Applying for Aid
To be considered for Federal and State aid, we urge you to apply for Federal aid before May first of each academic year. To apply for all sources of financial aid programs including, PELL, SEOG, TAP, APTS, Student Loans, etc, you must:
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov. Don't forget to use your PIN number. If you do not have one yet, apply for a PIN online at www.pin.ed.gov. If you prefer, you can download a PDF FAFSA at www.studentaid.org and mail the completed PDF FAFSA to the Federal Student Aid program for processing. Don't forget to use your PIN number. If you do not have one yet, apply for a PIN online at www.pin.ed.gov.
The Molloy College federal school code is 002775. Approximately 2-3 weeks after filing the form, you should receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) from the federal government. Review this form carefully. Make required corrections to the form online or by returning and signing your SAR to the address provided. We strongly recommend that you complete your FAFSA online where processing time is faster.
The Molloy College state school code is 0500. Complete the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application. If you file a FAFSA online, click on the link for New York State residents to file the TAP application online, or visit www.tapweb.org. If you don't apply for TAP online, New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (NYSHESC) will mail you an Express TAP Application (ETA) to complete.
