Welcome to the Office of Financial Aid

Mission Statement

The mission of the Financial Aid Department is to provide financial resources to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue their educational and professional goals. Through institutional, federal, state, and other organizations, the office coordinates the administration of all financial aid program; ensuring equity and consistency in the awarding of funds, timeliness in the delivery of funds while endeavoring to maintain the most efficient use of available funding.

The office of Financial Aid is committed to helping students achieve their education goal, by providing personalized assistance with:

  • Applying for Financial Aid
  • Scholarships
  • Federal and State Aid Programs
  • Other Options for Funding Education

To receive maximum consideration for the different types of financial aid which includes scholarships and grants, it is suggested that students file their applications for the next academic year as soon as possible after January 1. Students must re-apply for financial aid every academic year; renewal of awards is not automatic.
