Those Who Ran the Boardrooms Now Teach in Our Classrooms

Our executive-based learning program offers a unique and highly innovative approach to business education. In addition to strong academic credentials, most business professors at Molloy have had extensive careers in a wide range of fields, from accounting and finance to marketing and management. Bringing the benefit of their past experience to the classroom, our faculty makes business education come alive for the student.

At Molloy we focus on providing students not only with a strong academic background but also with the professional skills necessary to compete in today's competitive business environment. Extensive conversations with our Business Advisory Board have led to the development of our "Four Pillars" of business education: excellence in writing, public speaking, technical skills and ethics. The ability to express oneself concisely both orally and in writing, proficiency in computer skills such as Excel and PowerPoint, and a strong grounding in how to deal with ethical dilemmas are at the core of our teaching philosophy.  We recognize that our students' ability to master each of these pillars is key to long term success in their chosen field. Accordingly, we have embraced these principles and have incorporated each of them in every business course offered at Molloy.

Full time employment in one's career of choice is clearly the ultimate goal of most business students, and our faculty is committed to partnering with our students in this endeavor. We emphasize the importance of obtaining multiple professional internships during the undergraduate years in developing a resume that will give our students a competitive edge with employers. Unlike most other colleges, at Molloy we have a dedicated career placement resource within the Business Division that is available to our students to guide and assist them through this process from the day they arrive on campus.

If you'd like to jump start your business education in a program dedicated to academic excellence and active practical learning, come visit us.  Meet our faculty and students, visit our state of the art trading room and explore for yourself the opportunities that Molloy business can provide you.
