Music Therapy Careers
After completing your coursework and fieldwork training, culminating in an internship, you will be eligible to take the certification examination to become a board-certified music therapist (Music Therapist Board Certified, M.T. - B.C.).
Music therapists are employed in many different and rewarding settings that include:
- Hospitals
- Day care facilities
- Nursing homes
- Schools
- Rehabilitation centers
- Community and mental health facilities
- Private settings
